Satyadarshi Mishra is a full time Director and the secretary of Ajay Binay Institute of Technology-PilooMody College of Architecture Society. He joined the setup in since January 2012 as a managing trustee.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering (Hons) from UCE Burla, Odisha (1995) and PG Diploma in Business Management from XIM, Bhubaneswar (1997).He was the recipient of Faculty Council Gold Medal at XIM, Bhubaneswar for distinguished academic performance.
He has worked with global multinational software companies in software development and management positions. His work experience includes work at Sonata Software, Thoughtworks Technologies and Ness Technologies over a period of 15 years working at development centres at Bangalore. Before joining the trustee board at ABIT-PMCA society, he was working with Ness Technologies as Associate Vice President of Software Development. He has managed large software product development teams having footprints in India, USA, UK, Germany over a decade and worked with clients like Deutsche Bank, Franklin Templeton Investments, Coca Cola, Payback, Business Objects, Dell Financial Services. His skill areas involved Agile software development, CMMi and large scale software platform development.
In his present role, Satyadarshi is responsible for providing necessary infrastructural and financial resources to ensure effective delivery of university curriculum and collaboration with Industries for necessary student exposure to new areas of business and technology.
Mr. S K Das has over 25 years of experience in IT, Management Consulting and Engineering. Over these years he has gained cross-functional experience in heading delivery business unit, managing product R & D offshore centres, managing complex projects and product releases, creation and implementation of COEs and knowledge best practices etc. Has sound knowledge of different industry verticals including Life Science, FMCG, Beverage sector, Logistics companies, Oil and Gas sector, Process Industry and Manufacturing sectors.
He has worked as the Chief Delivery Mentor to improve the engineering delivery maturity of technology companies and establish global governance, risk management and compliance framework. He has set up offshore product development centres and manages the operation for maturity and optimization. He has authored the lifecycle maturity model for Product R & D centres in line with CMMi model. He has been responsible for bringing in a huge degree of professionalism to the institute and introducing many best practices in terms of processes in attempt to bridge the industry – academia gap.
PayalMohapatro is the president of the ABIT PMCA society and also works as a full time Director in the Institute. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering (Hons) from Utkal University, Odisha and she graduated as the topper of her batch from the University. Further she has completed her Master of Business Administration from K J Somaiya Institute of Management Mumbai.
She has worked in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for 10 years and held various positions in the management consultancy and technical consultancy divisions of TCS at Pune and Bangalore before joining ABIT PMCA full time.
She is responsible for establishing efficient operational processes and determining automation needs of such processes. Departments of the Institute have taken significant steps in industry floated competition participation under her leadership, which has led to improvement of applied technical skills, confidence and positivity amongst students & departments. She also interacts with cultural and social bodies within and outside the Institute and is instrumental in executing associated programs.
