ABIT group operates an Architecture college, Engineering College, MBA Institute and an Industrial Training Institute in Cuttack, Odisha. The group was established in 1993 with the aim to improve availability of skilled technical manpower for Industries as well as to enhance reach of technical education to rural Odisha. Over the last 22 years, the group has built advanced infrastructure, engaged with premier institutes like IITs and NITs in the region to build academic & research capability. In addition, there is continuous effort to associate with industries for better industry orientation and skill readiness for students. ABIT is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odishaand has been approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

APPOINTMENT FOR INTERN POSITION

Department of Mechanical Engineering, ABIT, Cuttack organized National Conference on “Recent Advances in Production Engineering and Engineering Design” RAPEED-2022 from 28.12.2022 to 29.12.2022.

External Connect Cell in association with Event & Competition Cell, ABIT organized an Alumni Meet on 24th December 2022 on the occasion of 25th Year Silver Jubilee of Ajay Binay Institute of Technology. More than 200 Alumni joined and celebrated this event and shared their unforgettable memories at ABIT with others.

ABIT conducted orientation program for the new lateral entry students, along with 3rd and 5th semester regular students, before the commencement of the odd semester 2022-23 session from 15th to 22nd December 2022.

Social Activities & Community Connect Cell, ABIT organized a 04-Days Workshop on “Essence of Coding” from 14th December 2022 to 17th December 2022 for 1ST Year B.Tech Students of ABIT, Cuttack to promote Creative Learning & Coding through SCRATCH.

Students of ABIT, Cuttack observed National Energy Conservation Day 2022 and conducted an awareness campaign to spread messages among the public and students about energy conservation and its necessity on 14th Dec 2022.

The Social Activities and Community Connect Cell of ABIT observed World Computer Literacy Day on 2nd December 2022 by organizing a computer literacy session for its staff who were not familiar with Computer Operations.

ABIT started bridge classes for 1st year students of B. Tech, MBA, MCA, B.SC(ITM) from 19.11.2022.

ABIT’s Centre of Applied Research “Automation and Internet of Things” is now recognised as Approved Centre of Excellence(CoE) of BijuPatnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha.

Amrit Kumar Ray, Arghyarupa Panda, and ShaguftaAnjum of 7th semester EE & EEE, ABIT, Cuttack have presented a Conference Paper titled “Performance Enhancement of a Photovoltaic Cell using Seebeck Generator” at the International Conference on Advanced Communication Control & Computing Technology (ICACCCT-2022) organized by SIMATS School of Engineering, Chennai under the guidance of Prof.Debayani Mishra (Asst. Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering) &Prof.Durgamadhab Swain (Asst. Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering).
