  • Ignivent

    Ignivent is the annual techfest at ABIT and is held in the Institute premises. It is a multi-institute event and several engineering colleges from across Odisha as well as few from outside Odisha have participated in this event.
    In the last 3 events more than 15 Institutes have participated. The event provides an avenue for students at ABIT and PMCA to demonstrate practical understanding of the subject matter. In addition, this develops a healthy competitive behaviour and group working ability amongst students.

  • Student Teacher Interaction Program
    A Student teacher interaction program was organized by the department of Electronics and Telecommunication on 13-09-2017, which was highly successful.

    Industrial Tour

    Industrial tours have been organized departmentally to carry forward Industry-Institute interaction and allow students to get them acquainted with the industrial environment. It also provides a practical orientation to the theory taught at the Institution level.

    Different socio-cultural activities are organized to make the students sociable and create a sense of cultural balance among them before meeting the real world in their professional and social life. The activities are,

    • ISTE Seminar on Professional Ethics in Engineering on 08.02.2013 by Dr. P. K. Mishra, Former Chairman, SCTEVT.
    • Award to the Students of ABIT by IIT Kharagpur for winning the Robotics Competition of IIT, Kharagpur Techfest held from 1st to 4th February 2013.
    • Award to the students of ABIT by Anna University, Chennai for winning the Robotics Competition of Anna University, Chennai Techfest held from 27th to 29th January 2013.
    • Award to Roohul Amin Khan – Winner In Oriya Debate Competition and Pramod Kumar Garnayak – Winner In Painting Competition by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha State and District Collector of Cuttack on the eve of National Voter’s Day and Republic Day on 25.01.2013 and 26.01.2013 respectively.

    • Educational tour for the first year students on 11th and 12th January 2013.
    • Award to ABIT for the Best ISTE Chapter of Odisha Section for the year 2012 during 42nd National Convention of ISTE held at Hyderabad from 20th to 22nd December 2012.
    • Participation of Student Representative of ABIT, Mr. Chakrapal Chandra Verma in the Student Platform for Engineering Education Development (SPEED) programme conducted by ISTE during 42nd National Convention of ISTE held at Hyderabad from 20th to 22nd December 2012 and nominated to perform assignments throughout the year for possible participation in the international meet of SPEED forum to be held at Chicago during August-September 2013.
    • Awareness Workshop on NPTEL conducted by IIT Chennai in collaboration with Classle at ABIT on 17.12.2012.
    • District level Quiz and Poster designing Competition by Tata Power Company Limited on 14.12.2012.
    • Candle Light Prayer for our beloved Director Academic Late Dr. (Mrs.) Prativa Rani Mishra on 11.12.2012.
    • Felicitation to students on 08.12.2012 for successfully conducting the Annual Techfest “Ignitron the 3rd”.
    • Observance of World AIDS day on 1st December 2012 by Red Ribbon Club of ABIT. “Ignitron the 3rd ”- The Annual Techno-management Festival of ABIT celebrated from 29th November to 1st December 2012. Observance of National Flag Day on 23.11.12 by the NSS Unit of ABIT.
    • Zonal Level National Mathematics Contest by ISTE on 03.11.2012 for the students and Faculties.
    • Chapter level National Mathematics Contest by ISTE on 15.10.2012 for the students and Faculties.
